The documentary series "The Arctic" was being shot on the territory of Russia from April till June 2014. We produced episodes 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8. The series came out in China in May, 2016.

"The Arctic" was aimed at the Chinese audience only. The documentary tells about the beauty and diversity of this region. It also shows how the situation in the region affects the life of every person on the Earth.

The structure of the documentary is based on the following units: "Nature", "Economics", "Science", "Expeditions/travel", "Culture/people".

During the project we interviewed the leading experts in the Arctic study and exploration. The experts covered the issues related to the industry of the region and the oil and gas sphere, the ways to maintain the biological diversity of the animal's world and discussed the life of indigenous peoples of the North. We shot industrial northern landscapes, mineral sites and the region's places of interest. We also interviewed ordinary people who told their life stories. All this material was used for the series production.
